NIGERIA HAS HAD ENOUGH OF TRIAL AND ERROR LEADERSHIP

As we navigate the complexities of our nation's challenges, it is clear that 'trial and error' leadership has failed us. We need a leader with a proven track record, a visionary who has spent years developing and refining policies to propel Nigeria forward.

Atiku Abubakar stands out as a seasoned statesman with a well-researched blueprint for economic growth, job creation, and national development. His experience as vice president and his tenure in governance have equipped him with the knowledge and expertise to navigate the intricacies of national administration.

In contrast, the current Tinubu-led leadership is marred by flip-flops and inconsistencies. The recent presidential pardon debacle, where individuals convicted of grave crimes such as drug trafficking, murder, and kidnapping, were granted clemency raises serious questions about the government's values, priorities and respect for Nigerians and their feelings. This decision not only undermines the justice system but also will embolden criminality. The reversal of some of the pardons further proves the Tinubu-led administration as one that doesn't ever think through issues, or policies.

This is not Tinubu's only gaffe. His flip-flops in policies are uncountable. We had the policy of mathematics not being compulsory for arts students in tertiary institutions reversed within a week of its announcement. The government recently had a somersault on mode of SS3 final exams - whether Computer based or not. A government that toys with the education of her young minds is near evil. His unpopular "subsidy is gone" pronouncement without well-thought-out provisions to cushion effects of subsidy removal, is still haunting the nation and her citizens. Tinubu, in fact, comes across as a leader who is rather whimsical than thoughtful. A gambler who decides the fate of a nation with the throw of a dice.

In contrast, Atiku's economic policies, as contained in his blueprint, focus on public-private partnerships, foreign direct investment, and empowerment of small-scale businesses. He is a strong advocate for electoral reforms, judicial independence, and democratic strengthening. His success as a businessman points to a man capable of leading a nation just as he has excelled in leading men and women in his private businesses over the years.

Let us join forces to support a leader who has a clear vision for Nigeria's future. A leader who understands the complexities of governance and has a proven ability to deliver results. A leader we know his roots, his life, and his antecedents.

Together, we can build a brighter future for our nation. Let us rally behind Atiku Abubakar and his vision for a prosperous, united, and strong Nigeria.
